I have a couple of these and find that the printers frequently misfeed A3 paper, causing the printout to be wonky and sometimes the paper to become torn or screwed up as it ejects at the wrong angle. I've checked the paper guides and rollers. I don't believe it's a hardware fault as we've had an ex-demo model for a year, and a new one for a week and both exhibit the same behaviour. I've know that some schools are using these, so would like to hear if anyone else has experienced this? Our A3 is always fed from tray 2, and A4 from tray 1.
Right now, I'm thinking it's either the paper (we're using good quality), the use of the second tray. cheers

Seems paper feed issues are common with HP inkjets from having cast around and experienced the K550 and 2230 myself..
This may help (although I suspect it's obvious stuff).
HP Business Inkjet 2200 and 2250 Series Printers - Paper Feed Problems
.. the bit that seems to stick out though is that the problem may be media related.
I've heard of a number of cases where changing the brand of paper can make the difference between a good and a poor feeding paper for these printers.
Some medias have a lot of residue that cause slippage, etc.. so it's worth a shot
