Hello, we have a few HP 4515's in computer labs around our campus with anywhere between 28-33 machines connected to them. VERY sporadically, they will print a job that will continue printing out pages indefinitely, comprised only of random characters on a single line near the top of the page. This tends to be a problem mostly during busier times, when a handful of students may be printing around the same time. If left unchecked, it will easily empty out all of the paper in the machine, and stop any further print jobs until it is at least power cycled.
I made sure that the firmware is up to date (Firmware: 20120112 04.160.9) and we have made sure the drivers were up to date as well.
We haven't been able to reproduce the problem ourselves, so it is difficult to find out the exact cause. We were hoping to nail it down to possibly the size/format of a file being printed, but no luck.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
