    Heh, you could threaten to install them in all rooms if the vandals didn't stop. Or just hang on that bit longer... :-P

    We have used these with quite a bit of success - not saying they are indestructible but better then some we have used.

    I wonder if there is a piece of software that can detect when the mouse is disconnected. Something that makes the internal speakers go nuts or any speakers for that matter. These people often vandalise in plain site. The ony other method is to cam the classroom, small webcam that has a vague eye on all computers. It is possible to work out when someone is using a mouse and when they are destroying it and relatively chepa to set up. Then make vandals pay.
