PoE Thin Clients - Yay or Nay?
We have some ageing fat clients in our design technology department - the workshops specifically.
These rooms are particularly dirty, so we were looking at some fanless clients, and are now looking down the route of a small scale Thin Client rollout for other areas of the school as well.
Because of the mains power in the room, and emergency shutdown facilities for the D+T equipment, we were looking at some PoE Thin Clients?
Has anyone got good or bad experience of these, or any recommendations?
Thanks for any help?

Check that the software works ok in the thin client environment first, pointless running CAD software over RDP. Like the idea of PoE thin client, let me know if you do, do it as I'd be interested in how it goes.
Maybe have a word with Cutter Project specialists in Virtualized Desktops, I think they're on here somewhere?
