I'm after a slide out console drawer for our server rack with the following requirements:
Trackball rather than touchpad (i hate touchpads)
17" Screen
USB interface
Cheapest that comms express had was £749, can anyone recommend anything cheaper? The one i found was £200 more expensive for the trackball version which is a bit steep, but being a one off thing that will likely be sat there for a used long time i feel inclined to get what is comfiest to use rather than convenient on budget.
Any suggestions?

Oh that's tempting, anythings better than a touch pad
Bring back the days of the nubben i say i much preferred using laptops etc with a nubben (aka the nipple

4th January 2012, 04:50 PM #4 I've got the old version of this which has got a nice trackball: 1U Rack Console | Dell
Had an issue with the KVM switcher it's connected to a couple of times, but the console itself has been solid. Not sure it's going to be any cheaper than £750 though!
