    Dell Latitude ST Tablet Now Available - Starting at £539

    Well Dells Latitude ST Tablet has finally arrived. £539 for the base model with W7 Home + 64GB SSD rising to £629 for W7 PRo + 128GB SSD. Spec are:

    • Atom Z670 1.5GHz Single Core Processor
    • 10.1 WXGA 1280X800 Multi-touch LED
    • 2GB DDR2 RAM
    • 4 Cell Battery
    • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 600
    • 802.11 a/b/g/n + Bluetooth Combo
    • Stylus


    Other features are:

    • 720p Front Facing Camera
    • 5.0MP Rear Facving Camera
    • Rubberised Bumpers + Gorilla Glass
    • Full Size HDMI + USB + SD Card Reader

    Jury is out on this one for me...I have seen mixed reviews of it already, many people are saying it should have been shipped with android, many people are saying that they should fix the W7 touch drivers, yet others are saying its one of the best tabs on the market.

    I will wait for the price drop if I am to consider it, and then I will shove droid on it if possible.

    we are looking at these to replace laptops, but have hesitated moving towards tablets because of issue around proxy’s and what depts want to do on them, but with these having win 7 pro we may buy a few to test. I am surprised at the price i thought it would be more towards to 399 to 499 mark, might give my Dell account manager a ring a see if we can get better pricing.
