I can presume that this does not include delivery time?
3 days for 30 pairs of blanking plates <- this includes delivery
7 Days for 20 replacement mice for incorrectly delivered ones <- this also includes delivery.
For reference, does the time start from when the call is first answered, or from when you actually start talking to a technician?
If it's from when the call is first answered, 11 minutes is impressive!
Ah the trick is not to talk to the technician but directly to your account manager that why I can get things done alot quicker than speaking to a tech (of sorts!)
The 11 mins started from the moment the Service Tag was taken by the reception.
1 hour - listening to "New york New york"
35mins - techy asking you to "change the nic"
25mins - trying to explain to the techy that the nic is on the motherboard therefore you cannot change it
20min - running diagnostics to "prove" the nic is faulty
10mins - explaining to the tech that the nic "passed" the diagnotic and that "no it still doesnt work"
2 days - waiting for the engineer to arrive with a new motherboard
2 more days - waiting for the engineer to arrive with the *correct* motherboard
lmao
ROFL
This was suposed to be a Personal best not a personal worst!! post
That was my best![]()
Next working day for engineer to come out and replace motherboard on my inspiron 6000 laptop
called them at around 13:30, and they were out about 9am the following day...
I can never get through to our account manager, i think she is permanently on answer machine.
must be same account manager - can never get hold of her for quotes though their kit and support is good otherwise I wouldn't bother with them anymore

Don't bother trying our client manager any more, not after waiting a week to get a quote for a PE2900. I use DELL resellers and buy DELL Outlet (refurbished) systems, much cheaper. Got a Precision M65 with 3 years warranty for £600 a couple of weeks ago.
I read the title as 'the how fast can you take apart a dell game!'11 minutes is impressive you must work nextdoor to the supply depot.
