15th August 2011, 04:41 PM #1 Wireless Projectors and Video Senders - Any Recommendations?
We've been asked to look into a Wireless connection for our projector in the Hall. We've tred Wireless projectors a while back (though admittedly that was when speeds were only 11Mb) and they were terrible so I'm a bit unsure about how well they'll work now. Basically we need a device to send Video/Audio from a laptop to the projector itself wirelessly.
Have things improved or are they still as bad as before? Any recommendations for a specific model or things to look out for?
TIA

15th August 2011, 06:31 PM #2 We have a number of wireless projectors [Casio XXXX (Model currently unknown) I will try to remember to check tomorrow]
The picture is excellent. Response is also very good. We tried moving the mouse rapidly and the projected image kept up easily. However I will say that these are classroom DLP projectors with a throw that would not work in a school hall.
HTH.

Would appreciate a note of the model but I've been speaking to our AV technician and the projector in the Hall is a 'special' long distance model so I don't think we'll be able to purchase an alternative projector in this instance though most of the time I'd guess that's probably the best option.
Has anyone tried any AV senders for use an existing wired projector over wireless?

You could be right. Perhaps I picked up a 'non-wireless enabled' [if you get my drift] projector today [they look the same externally]

Yup you did and they look the same, just don't want someone buying an XJ-A130 and expecting wifi
