Acer Laptop just restarts
I have been having issues with my laptop like freezing after just about 30 mins of usage, i decided to update the bios to v1.33 which i downloaded from acer's website. After the successful update, the laptops boots but restarts continuously even without getting to the bios screen.

I have tried reseating the memory but still the problem continues.

8th August 2011, 11:14 AM #6 Could be a bad flash, is there a recovery tool available?
Which model of Acer Laptop?

8th August 2011, 11:32 AM #7 It does sound like a bad BIOS flash but it's worth trying this first.
Remove the battery and power lead. Hold down the power button for a while. That will clear out all static. Put the battery back and try booting.
