To go further on this point. Have whoever is responsible check the school insurance policy. Chances are you're not insured above head height.
I know what ours says, it says if you've done the course, and got the bit of paper, fall off as much as you like as we will cover you (But we will sack you for falling off - that last bit is added on via a stick note on the policy I think thats a Finance Managers humor addition) Seriously, I know im fully covered as i've done the course, if I am on official school business or fixing something as asked by school then I can loose my leg, eye or arm and get money for it, great way of paying off all those debts
