    Computer desk/lecturn for Meeting Room

with our ongoing building works which are due to be completed by the end of the Summer one of the things we will be getting is a Meeting room with Perm ceiling projector. I've been given £200 to get a Computer Desk/Lecturn. Something Similar to what is linked below although this is £400.

Am I chasing a lost cause or there cheaper units out there? Ideally I would like something which doesn't have the pull out keyboard table.

IKEA do something similar, but you would have to add your own casters

I don't need it on casters - its going to be static. My main thing i need is something with doors on the front - so it can be turned on and the doors shut - everything they need is then there.

Do you have a link as i looked at Ikea but couldn't find anything?

GOLIAT Computer table - IKEA < it was that model with doors added in the front. It was on sale so may be end of life?

Yeah thats a shame - i will scout keep scouting around - they all just seem to be way overkill for what i want! All i need is to put a desk in it but want the unit to look smart and fit with the meeting room not look like a cheap tacky table in the corner full of cables which is the last resort!

I think i have found one - whats better is the wood effect matches the meeting room table!

We bought kitchen trollies for our main hall - £40 each from Argos, although Ikea do one for £30. Plenty of room for a projector, screen or whatever on top with a couple of computers stacked underneath, plus it comes with handy integrated wine-rack.

I looked through the Argos site and although they work i'm not 100% sure they will look professional in a Meeting Room!

The Ikea ones, although cheaper, actually look a bit more solid, plus they come with two shelves rather than a wine rack.
