I have a problem here, the heads PA has a Laserjet 1022 that was working until about 2 days ago, now when she prints all she gets is a single vertical line that runs down the page. It starts about an inch from the top and finishes the same at the bottom. See attached picture.
I have reinstalled the printer, updated drivers, tried the printer on another computer, swapped the USB lead, and also tried another 1022 that I had in the cupboard and they are both having the same problem.
However, if I press the 'Go' button on the printer control panel, it prints a standard HP demo page.
Does anyone have any ideas??

Fixed it. I have been using group policy preferences to deploy printers and one of the printers I tested on was a 1022n. When it installed there must have been a conflict in the drivers. I removed all drivers from the computer and reinstalled the original 1022 PnP driver and it has sorted the problem!
