How do you back stuff up?
Why not put more drives into your Stone server, rebuild the RAID array and restore your data?
I think I'm going to look into putting new drives into the Server.
I'm fairly sure we've got another 2 years left before it's paid for!
For a mission critical server then 3 years is the point at which you should start considering replacing it.

A five year lifecycle is a bit long if it's your one and only server!

Wow I would love to be able to do that We've projected at least 5 years for our DL165 G7s and I'm sure even a Stone server like that described has got a few more years left in it of good service.
