If like me your have this card in your laptop trolly laptops and are forever been called to them because a student cannot logon cause some shit has flicked the wireless hardware switch to off then i've found a fix. If you put tape over pin 14 and 7 on the mini pci card then put it back in the laptop then the card ignores the hardware switch and is always on and the hardware button no longer works :P
Just thought i would share this in case anyone else is being drivin up the wall by these hardware switchs.

If your going to do it then make sure the "notch" is on the left and count to the 7th pin accross (including the one to the left of the notch) tape that 1 pin and the one behind it on the other side. If you have problems i'll take try and upload a diagram photo.

Now the question is whether I can be bothered removing the 30 laptops from the trolley and then performing this 'fix' on each one before returning them.
Thankfully my HP nx6110 laptops have a bright blue light to indicate that it is on and the staff know to check this before bugging me so I think I might leave it for now.

Took me and the caretaker 40 minutes yesterday to do 30 laptops. I unscrewed and unclipped the card, he cut the strip of tape , put it on, then i tested it and screwed back on. It will make your blue light stay on perm.
It will be worth it in the longrun.
