Just rolled out some new images and found that now whenever you plug in any USB device the PC restarts. I have never seen anything as wierd as this before, and its extra wierd because its not limited to a certain motherboard and it worked fine before. The only thing that has changed is the image.
Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this so that I can fix it in the new image?

I mean does it have Symantec ghost client agent installed. There is a bug with 7.5 or 8.0 that can cause computers to bluescreen when plugging in a usb device.

Damn my internet connection.
Ghost wasn't used, so the problem is not with that (wish it was so that it was at least identifiable) and I have had no further luck searching the internet for presidence.
Has there been something new with windows update that could have caused this?

on one of the clients that are having this issue if you go to start --> run -->
eventvwr.msc and see if there are any related errors to usb, if so post back with them.

Makes me wonder... came in this morning and somebody had a problem which I traced to the USB drive being plugged in at boot up. Worked fine once it was removed...
