I am looking at which server hardware to buy to power our Trixbox VOIP system and have been considering something like one of these: http://linitx.com/index.php?cPath=14_50
I would likely build my own, using a Socket 478 Pentium M ~2Ghz. My question is, would ITX be a suitable platform for a VOIP system the size I wish to create (ie. 30 extensions, 4 external lines). It would only be in need of a single PCI line card, so a riser card with it connected in should do the trick.
The reason I ask is that I like the idea of the server being put in the comms cabinet near our main line entry point to the school. If it doesn't go here, I will have to have lines re-installed to somewhere else in the school which is a major hassle.
What do people think?

Well we don't have any need for any more. We won't be using analogue extensions and won't be expanding our phone lines any time soon - and by that time we would be looking at upgrading the system anyway.
Although, this would solve that problem?
