Hack for Canon A470
Hi,
I am trying to see if there is a hack for the a470. I have used the CHDK firmware in the past to take picture. Now, unfortunately, I need to go rather old school and I would like to hook up (solder in) a relay to the "shutter" button (whatever its called the one you push to take a picture). I just need to know where to attach the wires to. So:
1. Is there an internal schematic of this camera available to do this?
2. Is there an internal schematic of a similar camera that might be useful to help with this?
3. Does anyone know if this is possible with this camera? The only places I have seen this done before were in older film cameras and once with a Casio ex-z1000.
Any resources anyone has on hand for this would be great. Or I may end up trying with an older camera if it proves difficult with this one.
*Or if anyone knows or has any resources for how to do the same thing with an hp photosmart E427.
Thanks,
C.C.
