Dual DVI Nvidia card required (cheap)
What I am looking for is a new pci-e Nvidia graphic card, preferably a GeForce 8xxx series or above with dual DVI out and cheap (will accept 7xxx series if available). I'm not haivng much luck finding one at the right price i.e. as cheap as possible, and I really don't want to go on Ebay just yet, so if anyone knows of any please let me know.
It's to run an extra monitor btw as I've currently got a single headed Geforce 7300 running my third and have a screen spare atm.

How cheap is cheap? And does it absolutely have to be dual DVI? They seem quite hard to come by whereas DVI + VGA/HDMI are very common...

might as said above be easier to get one with dvi and hdmi and just get a hdmi-dvi lead

It must be DVI as the screens do not have VGA interfaces. If you see a card with DVI and HDMI together then that card will simply share the signal i.e. it will be single channel only.

This is the cheapest dual dvi card I could find:
Zotac GeForce GTS 450 810Mhz 1GB PCI-Express HDMI OC (ZT-40503-10L) - dabs.com
Not an 8000 series card, seems like the only 8000s you can get now are dvi/hdmi/vga.

It doesn't, in order to give backwards compatibility most DVI ports can also output an analogue signal.

Well, seeing as neither my monitors support VGA it not going to work I'm afraid. I saw quite a few Geforce 7900 with dual DVI for about £10 on eBay last night which should do the job nicely I think.

I have a few VGA to DVI converters which work on DVI only monitors...so a dual card with DVI and VGA will work fine if you have the converters
