    Soundcard advice

My head of music would like the best sound card possible but I am looking for something very reasonably price.

I just need a sound card with MIDI out and audio inputs/outputs that are not 3.5mm jacks. Any recommendation.

M Audio, EMU, or in the "£Very Good" bracket, RME Hammerfall.

What about this from Scan on clearance?

    Scan.co.uk: Auzentech X-Tension PCI Sound Card - AZT-XTDIN

It's not a standalone card but fits in with your exisitng onboard sound to provide MIDI input/output.

The Auzen X-Tension™ DIN will unlock the potential of your compatible Auzen soundcard.
As long as your existing soundcard is the correct one.

Or Category | Firewire | M Audio Firewire Solo | Presonus Inspire

(Ourerly because PCI is on its way out.

OP - you need to give us more info than that. Substitute soundcard with car and will understand how "silly" your question was. (All/most pro audio soundcards come with midi and proper connectors)
