What do you mean your laptop won't pick up the new hard drive?
Are you trying to install Windows on a new Hard drive?

Is the HD compatible with your laptop?
What happens if you dont go into the BIOS and let laptop continue? Do you get any error messages?
What version did you upgrade to?

Sukh

3a10 is the latest.
As I said above, if this is a new HD then have you attempted to install Windows?

28th February 2011, 12:05 AM #14 Hi
I think there may be a 250GB capacity limit for the max HD which can go into the 4000.
Can you confirm if this is compatible?
Does the 320GB HD still work in the other laptop?

Sukh
