    LinkStation Error

We have a Buffalo Linkstation Pro Duo 1TB NAS here and for the past two weeks I've been getting this error:

    DISK Error Notification

    HDD error occured
    Disk(s) the error occurred:Disk 1

    (sda) READ sector:46376896 count:19
    Disk writing error
RAID drive error will be repaired automatically.
    Continuous Back-up is recommended
As I keep getting the same message I take it the disk if faulty. Is this something I can repair myself?

    Thanks.

I have heard that dropping a generic drive will not work as the drives firmware is loaded from each of the drives on power-on, and so it might require a call to buffalo to confirm and get a replacement.
