I am thinking about buying a Media Server for home.
What I want, but not sure if I can have is at least 1TB storage and to be able to unplug alternate weekends to take and plug in to the girlfriends system, so a resonably small size.
Any advice or recommendations?

looks VERY nice bits of kit but painfully expensive, but then quality niece products often are
