    how do i find the chipset for my NIC

    hi does know how you can discover the chipset of a network interface card? I know the manufacture under drivers but it doesnt list the chipset used.

    manufacture intel and broadcom

    Either by physically looking at the network card ( if onboard then there should be an IC with the name of it on ) that or I normally use SIW

    There is a free non installable version on the downloads page ( very bottom or near the bottom )
