    Is there a PEN / SCANNER / READER gizmo on the market for SEN kids ?

    Something they can plug headphones in to and scan the text in a book and have it read out to them?

    Anyone got one? Used one? Seen one?

    Read and Write can do this. Have a look here Although this is software, not sure if you mean a standalone device?

    Not used one, but knew something existed as I used to work for an organisation that gave advice on equipment like this ..

    Yes I meant something the kid could pass over books and have headphones plugged in....

    The Reading Pen 2 looks interesting - might try one
