Samsung v25 - upgrading ram (help)

We've got a couple of Samsung laptops that are ok for what we need them to do but could desperately use a RAM upgrade as well as a hard drive replacement.

I'm pretty sure I can sort the hard drive easily enough but the RAM is located somewhere within the body so rather than poke around with a screwdriver I thought I'd ask if anyone has come across this model before:

.. it's part of the laptop for teachers scheme so I'm guessing someone has seen one so if you have any insight into the machine it'd be appreciated.

Are you asking what memory you need to buy, or how to get at it? RAM is usually under a easy access panel in the base somewhere, easier to access than the HD!

The latter... and in this case the RAM has no easy access panel at all (trust me I looked!).. HDD has one, CD Rom has one... RAM.. nada.

Under the keyboard is the most likely other place for it.

That's a nasty one!

Try flipping the laptop upside down and look on the bottom for a screw holding the keyboard in, loosen that, turn the laptop back over and open it then gently lift the keyboard back and away - the memory modules are probably covered by a banking plate somewhere easily(!) accessible under that.

OK .. thanks guys... that was my guess I just didn't want to go there unless I had to..
