Different Sahara projector problem
We have around 30 Sahara projectors, and all of them have developed the same fault.
A shadow appears at the top left corner, and gradually grows until it’s a triangle shape up to 8 inches wide at the top, with an inch of distortion around the shadow.
We sent 3 off to be repaired, but after 2 weeks the fault came back. Just wondering if anyone else has had this with any make of projector as Sahara we can’t get Sahara to tell us what the actual fault is.

I've just noticed this problem appear on 2 of our Sahara projectors. I suppose it'll need to go for repair.
Has anyone else experienced it? What causes the fault?

In my experience of Sahara Projectors they are the fault, complete and utter cr*p. All I can say is next time you purchase buy something else. Had several prolems with these and found the company unhelpful and there repairs a temporary solution to any of the issues.
Sorry I cannot be of any positive help but as you will be aware or will become aware that the projectors you have purchased are not without fault.

Plus when you RMA one they have to go back to Saudi Arabia by packhorse.
Last time I sent one back for repair it took 3 months to come back.

My experience has been the same with them.....
They have had one of our projectors for over a year now, and i am always the one that is chasing them up... and all i keep getting told is that it is in Saudi and they are waiting for it to return. We do have a replacement from them which is a good thing....
Ive told SMT about the issue and they are going to take this issue further...
I would stay well clear of them now!
