Mounting a Casio laser projector to Promethean Sanyo mount
Just replaced a dead sanyo xe-30 with a casio XJ-A130 and thought I'd share how I mounted it with you.
Attached is a picture of the modified sanyo original mount.
Basically I cut off all the sticky out bits with a hacksaw, flipped it over and then marked the holes for the casio with a paper template, with the casion mounted using 3mm screws you can then use some washers and the original mounting bolts to attach it to the original mount.
Done a similar thing with other Sanyo mounts from Promethean, except in once case I just mounted a piece of MDF to the base of the metalwork, saved a bit of hassle and cutting the metal

Yeah I considered that or using a piece of laser cut polycarbonate, I'm going to look at a slightly adjustable version and crack the welder out once it's powder coated should be fine.

Toby: No it's not one of the all in one units but a ceiling mounted XE-30, I doubt even the casio provides enough range for that close use, however could you measure the distance from the front of the lens to the surface of the board and also the size of the board you have please?
