    If using with an IWB, you shouldn't use a projector above 2000 lumens and preferably well under that, unless it's a short throw projector for health and safety reasons as user will have the projector shining at them when they're facing the class.

    Does that not depend on the angle the projector is installed at, and whether the teacher stands in front of the projected image whilst looking at the class? We have 2500 lumens projectors pretty much everywhere and have no complaints at all about being shone in the eyes - as they stand to one side of the board when talking.

    I'll try and dig out the stuff on it after the weekend, but it's more to do with long term effects and the level of the light energy.
