As above. I di dnot want to buy a standard printer with this capabilty. I have also seen these new drives that thermal print a disc. Are they special discs?

Not sure about thermal drives, but there are some drives that etch images onto the disc - these are called Lightscribe drives
... and yes you do need special discs which cost more than your average cdr
we use a bravo II deicated inkjet printer with a 25 cd/dvd capacity and it is great. you can even get a moddle witth a dvd dupicator built in but thats a bit expensive. Whats more the media is far cheaper than thermal.

I have used a Lightscribe drive, they are good if you put them on top quality but they take about 20 minutes to burn each disk.
