I am after something along the lines of the Sony Vaio TX series. Must be light, small screen (10" - 11"), integral CD\DVD, 1GB RAM and duel core for preference. It is for someone who cannot be lugging a larger laptop around for very valid reasons.
We could go for a Sony, but I would feel happier with a selection to choose from, and preferably cheaper than the TX.

I like the M400, although they are not as light as i would like. Managed to get a decent price on one too. But i was buying 155 in one go. Ive only got the 512Mb RAM ones, but id think it would be well woth the extra for the 1Gb RAM.

Slightly bigger with 12" screen size, Lenovo (IBM) Thinkpad X series are brilliant. Just leave the Ultrabase behind if you want to save weight.
