I've just started to get 17in TFTs instead of 17in CRTs since September. (Primary - cost is number one issue)
The resolution depends on where they are used - KS1 tend to use 800x600 and KS2 1024x768.
I run any TFTs at native resolution and increase displayed icon/font sizes to compensate and make them look same size as 800x600 display.
I don't know how a 17 in TFTs going to look like running old 16 bit DK software but I'll see whta happens when I get to that situation
regards
Simon

It looks quite interesting!! I have it running on 17" TFTs on 1280x1024 and its not too bad, I have set its shortcut to force it to run on 800x600 for some of them due to the fact that it doesn't strech, it left the program as a postage stamp in the middle of the screen, but appart from that they are fine.
