    A good tip that I picked up from someone else here - was on some HP lasers - you can go into diagnostic mode and switch off cartridge checking - we get loads more out of our 4600s after that!
    I think that tip was from me as I do that on my 4600s, just means you need to keep your eyes open for when its really faded and empty.

    Just got my hands covered in ink after buying a COS for my K5400.... and the thing keeps getting air bubbles in it so not that impressed so far..

    Oh wait... it does say wear gloves
