Just got this error via email from our Dell 1320N printer: Service Call: (009-340:00002000:Contact customer support if this failure is repeated.
Anyone any ideas? - have tried restart etc printer starts OK then get error light on printer can still access web interface etc.
Typical: printer is out of warranty and I've just recently bought new cartridges for it.

was a dirty sensor under the front cover of the printer: cotton bud sorted this.

If anyone else is having the same problem, and isn't sure exactly where the sensor is (like I was earlier!), see the "Cleaning the CTD Sensor Inside the Printer" section on this link:
