Our head of Geography wants to setup a digital weather station connected to a computer to download the data etc.
Does anyone have something like this at their school? Any experiences etc?
How easy are these things to setup?
Thanks
Chris
Yep. Easy enough to set up, but may require access to roof or other another suitable outdoor location for the hardware.
Results available here. Click on the large WCMS on the right of the main pane.
Equipment from Davis, who are v helpful if things go wrong (like the head of Geog loosing the software!)
Do you use the wireless LOS one, and if so, how do you find it?
Chris

Davies one for me, ours is about 12 years old, software on an old 5 1/4" diskbut Davies are still very helpful about getting it going. I am going to get the new wireless one when we get new budgets as they look good and being wireless means that we can move the receiver from classroom to classroom or get more than one for it so one for each of the rooms that are in range that are used for teaching geography.
