    Stone DG41RQ Slow BIOS

Got a evaluation machine from Stone, believe it is based on a Intel DG41RQ motherboard.

Anyway compared to previous year systems, the BIOS is incredibly slow! From power on to XP splash screen is around 25 seconds. I know it isn't huge but on a system from last year the XP desktop can be up on the screen by the time the POST completes on the DG41RQ!

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

This was solved by a BIOS update - I'll link you to the Intel update, as it comes with an easy Windows update utility - BIOS Update [RQG4110H.86A]

    Regards,

    Andrew
