About LinkBacksJust trying to set up my new Netgear ReadyNas.....but whilst im setting it up it keeps going off and i can only get it back on by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
Does it have some irratating power setting or have i got a duff?!

Sounds a tad iffy to me - I have one I use just for system state backups and backups of our Navaho server - it certainly should not keep powering down and back on.

I myself spent half an hour trying to resurrect some hardware - only to remember I'd deliberately scuppered it myself as we'd virtualised the server a month ago....spanner
If we did that I'd fill it up in no time I'm that thick.

...I've come back to work!!! I was on holiday for a fortnight and now I'm back in the office.
Other than that I spent 10 mins trying to work out why a teachers name had disappeared for the Marksheet owners list in Sims before it occured to me that only one year is open for reporting and she doesn't teach that year. Hence she doesn't own any markheets!!
Dropped a tea bag into the cup of coffee I've just made... no, I don't know why... I just did it

That's what I have done today (so far)
Rebooted a server with DRBD mirrors to Windows VMs - all Windows Server VMs promptly quit and the MDADM software RAID array and DRBD volumes all decided they needed to resync. Network going very slow just at the moment...

Formatted my backup partition when trying to nuke Windows
It's ok, there's a backup backup
Logged into the production website instead of the development website and wiped the entire front page content... Think my heart actually stopped for a second when I realised what I'd done.
