    as I couldn't afford a day off work today, I ended up having a tooth extracted without pain relief so that I could come in. Now it feels like I have been round house kicked to the jaw by Chuck Norris followed by a Punch to the jaw by Mr T.

    I was trying to combine four network connections in to one and then attach it to a virtual machine to act as a video file server. Still not sure if it's working yet...

    Replaced our netpilot remote firewall with Smoothwall. Set the GPO settings to port 800 then sat wondering why there was no net connection. I missed the checkbox which says 'enabled' on the Smoothwall.
