Laser printer repair company recommendations?
We've got a few Laserjets at the moment looking a bit worse for wear that need some TLC, we've got a company we usually use but want to shop around to get the best price on the work. Do you have any recommendations on places you use that give good service and price?

I use Total Digital Solutions (Total Digital Solutions - Digital Office Solutions and Document Management) but they're based in Bolton, so whether they cover your patch I couldn't say. We have an agreement with them and adhock service arrangements for any machines outside of that. They seem to of been ok with us thus far!

We have a contract with Kent Services for printers. Not sure if they cover your area but it covers all parts bar consumables (so drums & fuser units are counted as a charged item).

i take by your post detailing laserjets you have HP kit? or other brand ?
depending on model and type of machine you should have a list of parts which you change every XXXXX number of copies - e.g. etb, fuser, rollers, touch plates
or you could look at taking out a 3rd part service deal or look at hp style care pack.
if its just a repair / service and its HP you could try EBM - yes they cover my 120+ fleet of printers, but they also cover some of my primary schools we support.
but to be honest if its smaller unit - e.g. 2600 2015 style unit you might just be better placed to take a replace option.
if your getting lines or marks on the pages check for paper dust, faulty toners, waste toner where it should not be.

Yup it's all HP kit, tbh we only change items when they're wearing out and generally it tends to be paper handling issues that need sorting. Usually the repair comes in at around £80-100, which even on smaller printers is preferable to replacement at around £200

Printer Repairs, Fax Repair, HP DesignJet Plotter Repair. London, UK Nationwide.
We use them - had them out today, the guy we get is brilliant. Pricing gets better and better the more repairs you have...

Buy new ones, much cheaper in the long run.
