    I was just going to suggest Calgon tables. Have your tried spraying everything in the server with WD40. Or, submerse the whole lot in WD40 oil. A large bucket should be enough and try starting it again like that.

    That's jogged my memory - I knew I'd had this problem in the past and solved it. Apparently the power tripping is caused by small particles of ionised dirt in the water with which you filled it.

    The solution is easy: take the machine to your local launderette and ask for a "Servers Wash". That'll sort it.

    I will own up and say it got me very clever, you did have me going though i thought...

    you were using silicon to seal the holes where the noise comes out, and then testing that there were no more holes in the case with the water and then you was going to dry it out and then put everything back in

    Water cooling a server is a bad idea imo..............why not buy a sound proof rack, I did this at one of my last place

    Primary School! they dont have much money as it is and those kind of racks are pretty pricey..
