    Recommend me a mouse

    My laser mouse has just given up the ghost after 3 years of loyal service. It is a Medion gaming mouse I got from Aldi a few years back and has been fantastic until this morning when the bearings on the scroll wheel failed
    What I need is a very good mouse with USB connection. Any recommendations?

    P.S. It's amazing just how much you use a scroll whell without even realising, and boy, do you miss it when it's gone!

    Personally I'm a Logitech G5 fan... it's what fits your hand best though - and budget?

    I use a Logitech MX Revolution and can't fault it. Not the cheapest mouse in the world, but very configurable and easy to use.

    I use it all day everyday and even have a second one to use with my laptop when I'm out and about.

    I've got a Logitech wirless one that came bundled with my keyboard, but it steadfastly refuses to connect to the receiver, which is why I want a USB mouse.

    In the non gaming mouse arena I have one of these and quite like it:

    Cheap and simple... But does the job well

    I also had the version with the two side buttons, but the scroll wheel stopped middle clicking then I let my it to my stepbrother borrow it for his laptop and he five finger discounted it when he moved out :shakes fist:

    @pscott:

    Might look the part but can it fly or better still engage the kids?
