    HP ML350 G5 Fan failure

Well that is what it is saying.
When I take the side panel off and watch the fan while trying to start the server, the fan starts and then stops a number of times and then the server beeps and tells me fan5 failure which is the processor1 fan.
I am also having great difficulty in finding out how to order one of these fans.
    Help

    Why don't you try here:

    HP PartSurfer

Put in the Serial No of your machine or the product no, select your machine from the search results and it will give you a list of all parts available for that server type - it's normally fairly comprehensive.

Once you have the part no any HP Supplier should be able to get it for you - if you have a half-decent supplier they can probably find the product number of the part for you anyway.

Just a Quick update. (I am sure no one is interested)
DHl tried to deliver at 18:48 last night
But they did return this morning.
I opened the package to discover a lovely new Chassis fan
So I am still stuck with a dead server waiting for a processor fan
