    iSCSI Storage

Can anyone recommend an iSCSI device with the following requirements:

    Support for SATAIII 6GB/s drives
    Support for 10GB Connections
    Only require 8 Bays

    Any recommendations?

Have you looked at the Sun S7000 stuff? Loved by many on here!

Unified Storage, so it'll do NFS, CIFS, HTTP, FTP - as well as iSCSI. I think it supports 6Gbps SATA drives, and the new disk arrays will be SAS2 so there's no bottleneck there. Most of the range have SSD Flash accelerators so you get SATA capacity with SSD performance. It doesn't come with 10Gb by default but modules are available, they just take PCIe cards, so nothing proprietary. All of them have more than 8 bays, but you don't need to fill everything out and they are expandable.

If you want more info let me know, or speak to Phil Lawrence at Sun or Andy Trevor at Cutter Project.
