We got one for nothing from a project run by LGFL and imperial college. you might be able to get one out of your rbc
see Weather Monitoring System it has them all over the place
Anyone have a weather station that feeds to a website? Saw some at bett but stall had run out of leaflets and now I can't remember who sold them
It's for a primary and has to be dead cheap
Soon will have - built the PC for it, just need to mount the station outside our science block and I'll setup a cam and live feed for the info.......
Grrrrr. We have a Rainwise Station that I found out just before Christmas was faulty. I got it fixed and back on the roof and now all classrooms can accessit. It uses Weather View 32 software and I started looking at uploading the data to Weather Station Underground. I've set up our Personal Weather Station but couldn't find the patch to allow Weather Station 32. Seems that the patch for v6 is no longer available and we will have to buy v7 for $400!
So, I'm looking for alternative software that will work with our Rainwise system
I would second the recommendation to look at Weather Stations and Barometers from the Weather Shop®
They were very helpful when we wanted to set up a weather station at school, ours (Davis Vantage Pro 2) was around £1000 though, so not cheap... but very good.
