    Epson "stuck" blue pixels

I've got an Epson projector that has a large raggedly circular area of what appears to be "stuck" pixels.

e.g. if showing black screen you can see the blue pixels, white screen can't see them.

Anyone had this sort of thing?

Proj is out of warranty but sort of usuable so I don't want to take it apart in case I break it but if its fixable than I'd give it go!

    regards

    Simon

I happened to meet up with my projector supplier today and he said its due to burn in as a result of overheating on the LCD panel and not fixable

I blame poor maint by the technician

You'd be surprised the weird and wonderful things I've seen failing lamps do....
