Hi
we have a smart board that doesnt seem to respond to touch. when it is attached to a laptop it seems to respond, the light turns green and the PC acknowledges that a board is connected. The board even reacts to a pen being picked up but if you touch the boards surface theirs no movement or reaction.
I've tried the reset switch on the back right hand side and i've also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the pen tray lead in both of the sockets.
Is this board dead or is their another trick i can try.
Thanks

Test the board with another pc.
Test the pc with another board.
Is the usb on the pc overloaded?
Have you tried reinstalling the software as it might be corrupted and the driver in the same vain. I used to have problems like this with promethian board but have never had it with smartboard.
Have you tried it with a different usb port?
