    RAID Help Please!!

Last week one of my drives died, no problems I got a new one and started the rebuid (RAID 5)
Came in this morning to find the rebuild still at 0% after 64 hrs. So I exit out and load back into windows.

How do I now know how rebuilt, if at all my array is? I have tried installing the Intel RAID utility
Intel® 6300ESB I/O controller hub - Intel® Matrix Storage Manager v5.5 is the last version that supports this controller hub
but it says my card is not supported??

Its an Intel 6300esb ultra ata - 25a2

    Thanks

    Chris

Get straight on to Intel or the motherboard / PC manufacturer, without their utility I don't know how you'd monitor your RAID controller.

Bizzarr! In windows the RAID controller is an Intel® 6300ESB in the RAID bios its a Intel SRCU42L.

Drivers and utilities for this one work, bonus lol!

If the Windows software didn't work, you could still enter the RAID BIOS to check its status after a reboot.

That is a little strange. Lets just hope the Windows software is right. I'd still be tempted to find and install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager v5.5 if that is the last version which supported the RAID card.
