We have a Konica Minolta machine here - a C650. The driver is set up on our printer server and the unique pin number has been set for the library.
On the library machine we have a logon script that brings the driver over to the machine and allows printing. This works all around the school.
The problem we are seeing is that the pin number is not coming over with the driver onto the machine. Has anyone seen this issue and managed to solve it? It we manually install the driver and then put the pin number into the local driver - it keeps the setting.
It's a PITA

dont suppose it creates a hidden folder on the root of the C drive where it keeps settings ?
If not then not sure - would have to check with there tech support unless there is a registry key ?

Good point about the key and directory. I'll check on Monday.
I have mailed Konica Minolta to ask. I will post their reply here hopefully with a solution.
Cheers Mac

sounds like it could be a configurable registry key, search the registry of a machine with the printer 'configured' for the PIN number, if you find it then you might be able to add it to the local machine tree. or could just get it to run as a silent reg key through the login script/group policy
