We have DECT telephones in our IT office - but the current trio of BT Stratus 1500 handsets seem to be rubbish: batteries won't charge properly, charging docks fail, handsets crash regularly.
They've been replaced once under warranty, but the replacement set isn't much better so we're thinking of ditching them entirely for another brand / model.
Can anyone recommend a decent set of DECT handsets? As with everything in education, they need to be "best value" so the gold-plated chav-phone is right out
All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance

7th November 2009, 04:33 PM #2 Hows about this system, its very reliable and doesn't have battery issues or charging problems:

Back to seriousness now, Siemens DECT phones are great, had many a Siemens set and they are very good, BT used to partner with them, got a set here its about 9 years old now, had a few sets of AA rechargeable batteries but its a great phone
. I often get my phones from Panasonic Phones, Dect Home Cordless Phones, Siemens, Philips, BT, Wirral, UK very good pricing and service.

Siemens Gigaset are very good. Ive a set at home and they do VOIP as well as landline. Range seems to be good and the phones dont need to be beside a phone point as the charger for the phones is separate (depends on model you get).
