Can anyone recommend me a USB Stick which is 16GB and cheapish but I need one with write protection to stop from getting viruses. This is for work and personal use. 16GB sticks are easy to come by but one with write protection I just can’t find any

14th October 2009, 01:34 PM #3 Haven't seen any 16gb models - assuming it's for malware repair and recovery, I was looking a while ago, decided that the best solution was a 2gb stick with all the tools on and a separate mini 60gb drive for backup of user files - you're going to have to enable write on the stick for backup anyway so the risks are the same if you haven't entirely cleaned up all existing malware.
Buy 2GB Flash Drive with Write LockNLFD2-2GIG from CCL - Online Retailer of the Year 2008, 2007 & 2006 for laptops, desktops and computer hardware is the 2gb model, they do go up to 8gb though if that's any use?
