Matrox TripleHead2Go-Digital (DVI) x3 Monitors from x1 PC

And surely one gfx card would really have problems running the is on max res?

can any one shed some light on this?

It's a matrox product so it won't be aimed at the games market. It's probably intended for the finanical sector. One graphics card should have enough grunt.

At the end of the day there will always be a market for products that save you having to open the box. Even if they cost more and don't perform as well.

CAD Designers, Mech Engineers, Architects, Gamers, Financial Institutes, anywhere large expanded screen sizes are required to process as much information as humanly possible.

But that's what i don't get why wouldn't you just use 2 gfx cards, i ask because im thinking of using 3 at home for gaming and am sure this solution would still tax the gfx card as much, thus i would have to use 2 gfx cards.

It seems to me its a glorified usb gfx card?

Also even if it wasn't for games just work, the unit costs about £200 why would i not just buy another £30 gfx card, or is i mainly for people who just dont want to get inside there pc's?

simplest reason i can think of is only having one pcix16 slot. If you dont play games those cards should be fine they are designed to do that job so why wouldnt they be reasonable at it?

I have a desktop with a single output, and a single expansion slot - if I put a card in the slot, it disables the onboard. So, to have 3 screens, I'd need a 3 screen or more low profile card, or an external one.

The external one is what I use.
